Bill Hicks was an amazing comedian who spoke about things that most people just ignore. While most of us live in a world of lollipop culture rainbows and star wars daydreams, somebody has to analyze what's happening in the darkest corners of our mind and our government. He did that. If you're a kid in London, India or Brisbane, go and find some YouTube videos of Bill Hicks' standup. It's relevant moreso today than it was in the late 80's and early 90's. AND if you're a fan of the band TOOL, they sampled his stand up in their work and he even toured with them prior to his death.

So keep on liking the Star Wars art and video game art I produce but for once it would be nice if people paid attention to some substance and intellect on this thing we call deviantART.

Absolutely love Hicks and this poster is fantastic!

Speaking of Tool, I love the bit he did with his contact lens during the 1992 Lollapalooza tour. Such a terrible voice to lose so young.

awesome! iv been a huge fan of bill hicks ever since i found em a long time ago. him and good ole george carlin are two of my all time favorite comedians. btw very nice work, the pyramid eye thing (i forget what they call it) was a nice addition as well as the quote. keep it up!

cool...read about Horus man. Every artist and thinker needs to read that tale from ancient Egypt. I am glad I can introduce you to this. That's what artists are supposed to do for other artists. I'm loving your progress in your work too. Keep on chugging along my friend!
