Fett's Boba - Boba Fett Star Wars Propaganda Artby *HalHefnerART

I love Propaganda art. It has been something I have been drawn to since I was a little kid. I remember seeing old posters of American, Russian and Nazi War propaganda and was enthralled with the design and bold statements. As a creative person who has worked as both an illustrator and designer for the advertising industry, propaganda art is something that feels comfortably in the middle between these two because there is an element of design and art in their layout and it’s the perfect creative marriage IMHO.

A few months ago, a very talented writer, thinker and Transmedia enthusiast, whom I really admire by the name of Ron Martino, rekindled the passion I have for propaganda art. Ron is an extremely forward thinking guy with a lot of great initiatives that he is exploring over at deviantART. Ron wrote a really awesome piece that jazzed the dA community, when he focused on faux Propaganda art. [link]
